We’ve got some exciting information about the upcoming World Scout Jamboree in South Korea planned for 2023 that we would like you to share with you. The 25th World Scout Jamboree will take place between 1st - 12th August 2023 at Saemangeum, Jeollabuk-do Province, South Korea.

Unlike any other youth event, the World Scout Jamboree invites you to surround yourself in diverse global cultures by joining your new Scouting friends at a single destination for 12 unforgettable days. The jamboree experience extends beyond your home—and beyond the boundaries of our countries—to create a global adventure that will last a lifetime!

We're holding information evenings around the country in August where you can find out about the experience, what the programme of the Jamboree is like, the activities that will be held, listen to Scouts and Venturers who went to the last World Jamboree, and find out more about what we expect the event will cost.

Don’t worry, if you can’t make it in person, join our virtual information session on Sunday 15 August 7:30pm via Google Meet. Join the session at wsj2023.scouts.nz/virtualsession

There's no need to RSVP, just turn up on the day. We'll be on site 10 minutes before the start time. The evening is open to all older Scouts, Venturers, Leaders and Parents/Caregivers.

We understand that we do need to take into consideration the impact of COVID-19. At this stage we’re asking for registrations of interest with registrations due to open late this year. Keep an eye out on our website or via email for the latest information.
